Location

I was never a big fan of big hotels or ballrooms on the 12th floor in a fancy building... Because it has no personal touch to it. I would rather go for a manor or a restaurant by the lake, on a hill, with open space where people can go for a walk, smoke etc. Unless there is a roof terrace ( very rarely), I would feel trapped inside.

If you choose a location closer to nature, I can guarantee that your pictures will be amazing, because the landscape is right there - no need to search for it.

In the picture below, we chose a simple decoration, but very effective, within walking distance from the restaurant :)
